Reserve Stand
Lapin reserve stands are produced for the safe storage of electrode/electrode columns on the platform area. Using reserve stands is especially needed when hot electrode columns are taken from the EAF or LF and kept on stand for column change or furnace maintenance.
Hot electrode columns must be kept in air-sealed stand tubes to prevent air circulation and side oxidation during on stand waiting time.
Lapin Reserve stands are produced with a jaw‐blocking lock system and they are integrated into Lapin Hydraulic Station.
